Introduction to Design explores the elements of form and the fundamental principles of two-dimensional design.
Figure Ground
Students create a series of small studies of modules. They place these modules three across and four down. The goal is to create a design that creates interconnecting shapes and a strong figure ground relationship. The final design is completed by drawing the modules on bristol board and inking the shapes.
