Typography explores letterforms and word compositions in the context of designing with type.
Line & Hierarchy
This assignment explores the use of typographic lines to create visual hierarchy. Students create a series of typographic designs using an event for their subject. Their series of four designs shows a gradual progression from almost nonexistent visual hierarchy to distinct dramatic visual hierarchy.
